What To Expect
Your first impression is very important to us. When you are here at our office, you will have our undivided attention during your first visit. This gives you an opportunity to describe your challenges, frustrations, and past experiences with your TMJ or airway problem. You will have plenty of time to discuss any concerns or fears you may have, and we'll have an opportunity to understand your hopes and goals. We'll take the time to review your medical history, and discuss how problems in other parts of the body sometimes affect the structures around the mouth and jaw. Only then, with your permission, will Dr. Dolgos perform a detailed head and neck examination. With all of this information, we can begin to understand what factors might have brought you to this point.
Sometimes, additional diagnostic information such as X-rays, MRI’s, CT scans, and electrodiagnostic measurements will be recommended before an appropriate plan of action is proposed.
